Xiaomi 17T Pro Review
Introduction & Specification
The Xiaomi T series is back just eight months after the previous version, the Xiaomi 15T. The changes are not groundbreaking by any means as one would anticipate, but keep the Xiaomi 17T in the game as a competitive upper-mid-range alternative throughout 2026. The 17T Pro especially appears poised to benefit from the Xiaomi 15T Pro’s popularity.
As always the new model sports an updated chipset. This time it’s the Dimensity 9500, MediaTek’s flagship processor for 2026. That’s an upgrade over last year’s silicon and a healthy performance boost over the Dimensity 8500 in the regular Xiaomi 17T.
The 17T Pro also has a much bigger 7000mAh battery, coupled with a bump in charging power from 90W to 100W, going beyond the chip. The 50W wireless charging is still there, and the Pro model also adds a fast 22.5W reverse wired charging to its spec sheet.

Otherwise the Xiaomi 17T Pro is pretty much an update of the Xiaomi 15T Pro and that’s not always a bad thing. It features last year’s impressive 6.83-inch OLED display, robust construction with IP68 certification, and a flexible, high-performing camera system with a huge 50MP main sensor and a 5x periscope telephoto lens.
The striking similarity to the Poco X8 Pro Max and the Poco F8 Ultra is impossible to ignore. Those models share a lot in common with the 17T Pro in terms of hardware and features, so they’re good choices within the same family. Be sure to examine the following pages for more details on comparison.
Unboxing of Xiaomi 17T Pro
In every market the Xiaomi 17T Pro comes with a USB-C to USB-A cable. But in some areas like Europe, the appropriate 100W Xiaomi charger doesn’t come in the retail package.
