Xiaomi 18 display and battery specs leak

The first rumors about the Xiaomi 18 are beginning to emerge, with an estimated arrival around September. A recent leak from China claims that the device will sport a 6.4-inch flat display. That’s only a small bump up from the 6.3-inch display on the Xiaomi 17, and it’s going to maintain the same 19.5:9 aspect ratio.

The source also claims that the Xiaomi 18 will have a “2K” resolution display — a big jump from the 17 — along with ultra-thin bezels and notably rounder corners.

Battery life, on the other hand, is said to begin with the number 7. One Weibo commenter is speculating it may be a massive 7,800 mAh. But even if it’s “only” 7,000 mAh, that’d still be a nice boost from the Xiaomi 17’s 6,330 mAh battery.

As a side note, the tipster (DCS) said that the Xiaomi 18 Pro and Pro Max models will come with two 200MP cameras, one for the main lens and one for the telephoto. However, there is no word on the camera arrangement for the regular Xiaomi 18. Previous leaks indicated the cheapest model could possibly feature a 200MP telephoto camera, with a 50MP primary sensor – the same as the Xiaomi 17.
