Samsung Galaxy Watch9 and Watch Ultra 2 Receive 3C Certification Ahead of Launch Samsung is gearing up to launch its next-gen Galaxy Watch series, along with its new foldable phones, at an event in London that is said to be taking place on July 22. The number of smartwatches coming has not been officially confirmed by the company but two models have shown in China’s 3C certification database revealing their charging capacities.

Both watches have model numbers SM-L3550 and SM-L7150 and can be charged at 10W. Industry sources think that the SM-L3550 is the Samsung Galaxy Watch9 and the SM-L7150 is nothing else than the Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra 2.

Interestingly, this charging speed is the same as last year’s Galaxy Watch8 and Galaxy Watch Ultra. Many are hoping Samsung will make the update worthwhile by offering better battery life even if the power consumption is the same.

And apparently a Galaxy Watch9 Classic is gonna be announced next month. It also offers the same 10W charging speed as its siblings.

There are no specs published yet by Samsung but the Korean tech behemoth has recently stated a handful of new Galaxy Watches are coming soon. It also gave a glimpse of some of its future health features with a new Samsung Health app version.
