Design and Construction
The OnePlus Nord Buds 3r have a stemmed design and are housed in a small, rectangular charging case with rounded corners. The earbuds are light and fit comfortably for most people during long listening sessions or light workouts. The IP55 rating means good protection against dust and water splashes, making them perfect for daily use, commuting and exercise. But they are not for swimming or heavy water exposure. The new colour is Jade Mist, launched in October 2026. Jade Mist is a new pastel colour to join existing Ash Black and Aura Blue.
Sound Quality & Features
The 12.4mm titanium-coated drivers are tuned for a bass-heavy sound signature, which is what most Indian users prefer for music, podcasts, and casual listening. Bass is punchy and mids are clear enough for vocals, and the highs are decent without being too sharp. The Sound Master EQ offers three preset profiles and a 6-band custom equaliser to let users fine-tune the audio. When used with compatible OnePlus smartphones, OnePlus 3D Audio creates a wider spatial sound experience.Important: The Nord Buds 3r does not have Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) for listening to music. It comes with dual-mic AI noise cancellation for better calls. Even when listening to music you can still hear the background noise. Especially in noisy environments like metros or traffic. The call quality is decent for the price, and the AI algorithm works to minimise wind and ambient noise during conversations.
