Here’s our first look at the Galaxy S26 FE
Galaxy S26 FE with model number SM-S741 and support for Qi 2 (25W wireless) has been spotted on the Wireless Power Consortium website Rumored 6.7" Dynamic AMOLED 2X (120Hz, 1900 nits) 8GB RAM 512GB max storage 4900-5000mAh battery 45W wired charging Not the Exynos 2600 but last year's Exynos flagship chip. Scheduled to launch in late August or early September 2026.

Samsung Galaxy S26 FE to be first WPC-enabled smartphone to launch

The first look at the Galaxy S26 in its “Fan Edition” variant has surfaced, with an image of the handset appearing on the Wireless Power Consortium website. The Galaxy S25 FE launched in September last year, so we could expect the Galaxy S26 FE to light up in late August or early September 2026. FE phones are essentially entry-level flagships and the concept was first brought out back in 2017 with the Galaxy Note FE.

Remember that first Galaxy phone that got a FE model? Hint it was HOT!

The Galaxy Note 7 was a beautiful phone, but some thought it was too hot to handle, literally. That's a little joke, okay. The truth is it had a nice design I really liked and I thought it would be Samsung's top selling Galaxy phone at the time. But you know, they had to recall the phone twice because the battery was exploding randomly. Samsung didn’t want to throw away such a good design, so it reused redesigned batteries and spare parts of Galaxy Note 7 units to make the Galaxy Note FE. And thus the FE line was born. And now the Galaxy S26 FE takes thattorch forward.

The Galaxy S26 FE’s model number will be SM-S741

And here we are with the Galaxy S26 FE. This phone has the model number SM-S741 and a rear camera bump I have named the “Traffic Light” module (similar to the one on the base Galaxy S26 model but more towards the top and side). FE phones are entry level flagships and they have a processor that is one generation old. The Galaxy S26 FE will have to do without the best Exynos chip yet (2nm Exynos 2600 with Gate‑All‑Around and Heat Pass Block). Instead, it will probably use last year’s flagship Exynos.

Galaxy S26 FE specs leaked

The Galaxy S26 FE is expected to have a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1,900 nits peak brightness. It will have 8GB of RAM and will feature 128GB, 256GB or 512GB of non expandable storage. The battery should be between 4,900 mAh and 5,000 mAh, with 45W fast charging.

The WPC listing also confirms that the Galaxy S26 FE will support the Qi 2 version 2.2.1 (released last July) and will offer wireless charging speeds of up to 25W with improved magnetic alignment. That helps keep the charging coils perfectly centered and that reduces heat when you wirelessly charge.

More leaks will keep trickling out as we get closer to that late summer launch.
